Eyes that hold a luster
A brimming living tide
Ocean full of love of life
Reflected from inside
Eyes that tell a story
Of pain and joy and growth
Of years of getting older
To live a new found youth
Eyes that hold my own eyes
Made captive in the gaze
While all the world, round about
Recedes into a haze
Eyes that draw me onward
To think of future skies
Blue and free of lonely clouds
If I can see your eyes
